Apple Pie!

Recipe:

Ingredients: Apple-3 slices ; Peanut Butter-3 tsp ; Almonds-5g.

(The quantity of ingredients differs among individuals)

Method:

  • Slice an Apple laterally.
  • Spread peanut butter on one side of each Apple slice.
  • Chop almonds and sprinkle on the buttered slices.

Apple Pie, a healthy breakfast choice! It helps one feel full for a longer time. 

Apples contain Vitamin C and prevent damages caused by free radicals. They also contain Bcomplex Vitamins and betacarotene. Apples are good for oral health and bone health as well. Apples are rich in minerals such as Calcium, Phosphorus and Potassium. 

Peanut butter contains good fat i.e., monounsaturated fatty acids which means it is not harmful to cardiac health. It contains fat soluble vitamin- Vitamin E which helps to maintain the integrity of cells and their membranes. Peanut butter is also rich in Potassium.
